My journey to a healthier lifestyle began in 1997 when I entered massage therapy
school.  During this time I learned the importance of lifestyle and how that will affect the
way your body feels.  I began practicing massage therapy immediately after I
graduated in 1999.  During this time I gained experience by working for chiropractors
and one of the top spas in Portland, Oregon.  Even though this work was gratifying, I
felt a strong pull to go into business for myself.  So in 2008, that is exactly what I did
and I’ve never looked back.  Working for myself has allowed me to spend more time
with my clients and what I’ve discovered is that some people would really like more
guidance in how to have a healthier lifestyle.  Sometimes massage isn’t enough.  It
feels good at the time, but until certain things in your lifestyle change, the problem will
not go away.  That is when I decided to add holistic health counseling into my practice.
I believe that with lifestyle and dietary changes, we can live a more fulfilling, balanced
and pain-free life.

I am happily married to my wonderful husband Michael.  We enjoy living a healthy
lifestyle by exploring new foods and creating fun, healthy meals in the kitchen.  We
believe in being active and strive to keep movement in our lives.  Living in the great
Northwest provides us a wealth of outdoor activities.  Some of the things that we enjoy
doing are whitewater kayaking, snowboarding, hiking, and biking around our beautiful
city.
